Duties and Responsibilities: STRATEGIC • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs; • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction; • Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives; • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers; • Enhance organization reputation through customer service and continuous collaboration with partners, customers and service providers; • Continuously focus on improving customer satisfaction to create customer loyalty and deliver a positive event experience; • Be active member of the hospitality and event planning industries, and pursue new market opportunities to increase event sales; OPERATIONAL • Locate and propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities; • Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; develop and negotiate contracts; • Responsible for all elements of event planning, including identifying event logistics and negotiating contracts (includes providing accurate and timely information to clients, vendors, and meeting planners); • Coordinate event logistics, proactively communicate event information, and set clear expectations for event delivery; • Analyze and reconcile different event details, and consolidate the information into actionable event plans; • Prepare detailed event reports, including sales data worksheets, cost projections and other financial metrics; Requirements: • BA required; • 3+ years related work experience required; • Fluent English, Greek – written and spoken; Russian – would be a plus; • Proven track record of executing successful, polished events that are on-time and on-budget; • Strong project management and organizational skills; • Forward-thinking attitude and ability to effectively solve unforeseen situations as they arise; • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal; • Ability to work under time pressures and extended hours (weekends as needed); • Marketing experience would be considered a strong advantage.
